8 Ways To Celebrate 4th Of July With Your Dogs!

Oh, you thought only humans like to celebrate the 4th of July?

Dogs love to celebrate everything with you! A couple of years ago, my dog and I celebrated my first bottle flip! Dogs are our partners in crime, they’re with us in everything we do, so what makes others think they don’t like celebrating Independence Day with us? But wait, not the fireworks, please. Here are some dog-friendly ways to celebrate the 4th of July with dogs!

1. Frozen treats!

July is usually hot, so why not cool off with delicious frozen treats? Try different combinations of dog-friendly fruits and peanut butter to see what your dog loves to snack on!

2. Play dress up!

Hey, everyone wants to dress up for occasions! So on the 4th of July, pick out a cool t-shirt, a bandana or anything else your dog won’t mind wearing and show them off on social media! Remember, if you leave the house, your dog might panic from unpredictable firework shows, so please stay home with them, if possible!

3. Paint their nails!

James Bones, my dog, loves to have his nails painted! On the 4th of July every year, we pick red, blue and silver nail polish and, boy, do we have fun! Also, he’s not the only one who gets nail paint, all of us at home do!

4. Mini vacation!

You know the city is going to be bursting with tourists, chaos, crowd, and fireworks, so the best thing you can do is to go far away from the chaos and fireworks so your dog can celebrate the 4th of July in peace and serenity. See if there’s a dog-friendly 4th of July celebration and go there with your dog!
