A Courageous Pup Saves the Life of a 14-Year-Old Dog

This is a tale about two lovely dogs and their attachment to each other.

Fourteen-year-old Luna surprisingly showed up in the house dripping wet one day. Her parent Juliet Firpo wondered that the senior dog with failing eyesight had taken a dip in the pool unaccompanied.

However, the security cam footage showed what really happened. Luna accidentally fell into the pool and was unable to climb out. She would have drowned were it not for the efforts of the pup Caipirinha.

Firpo says:

“We watched the video and couldn’t believe it,”

Caipirinha acted rapidly with remarkable foresight and agility, guiding Luna until she got to the shallow end. She then pulled her friend out by the collar. Thanks to the courageous actions of Caipirinha who was moved by concern for her friend’s safety, Luna survived unscathed.

Firpo intends to secure the pool to prevent future accidents. In the meantime, the family is overwhelmed with gratitude. Says Firpo:

“Caipirinha was already the darling of the house, “Now, she’s our hero.”
