Abandoned Blind Beagle Pup Feels True Love For The First Time...

Everyone meet Keegan, an adorable beagle pup who is blind, probably the reason why he was abandoned when he was just 3 years old. But fate had other plans and this beagle found his forever loving heart!

When the adorable fur ball was rescued, he was suffering from contagious sarcoptic mange, tape worms, heart worms and his bulging, blind eyes were inflamed and infected. His rescuers immediately took him to the vet where he was treated, then on Saint Patrick’s Day, he was adopted!

Unfortunately, because of the infection in his eyes, the vets had to remove both his eyes. According to Tiffany Huffmaster, Keegan’s mommy, “Most people who come here don’t know he doesn’t have eyes until he looks up at them.” And despite losing both eyes, Keegan is doing really well! Keegan is currently working hard to earn his Good Canine Citizenship Certificate, so he can visit sick children at Children’s Medical Center of Dallas! Take a look at this video on page 2 below!
