Clyde is a one-year-old Husky and Shepherd mix breed dog. He had a tumor that started to grow on his chest, in between his front legs.
As the tumor grew larger and larger, Clyde started to have trouble getting around, going on walks, and running. Eventually, Clyde was surrendered to the Gallatin County Shelter – Clyde’s so-called parent wanted him to be put to sleep! Thankfully, the shelter contacted the Homeless Animal Rescue Team (HART) located in Mason, Ohio and they agreed to take him.
At HART, Clyde underwent surgery to have his 6-pound tumor removed! Katie Goodpastor, a worker with HART, has been documenting Clyde’s progress since he arrived. Watch the video to see the massive tumor that Clyde was forced to live with. Watch until the end to see a happy and very mobile Clyde! Let us hope Clyde finds a new forever home soon!
