Everyone meet Lu, an adorable beagle pup who went missing on the 31st July 2015, but his family never gave up hope. They knew that if they searched harder, they would meet again, but only 200 days later.
When a pup goes missing even the most devoted parents are tempted to give up, especially if they’ve been searching for forever. But not Lorin Leuci, because she was dedicated and loved her beagle pup too much to just give up. As soon as Lu went missing, Lorin posted an update on Facebook which had been shared with the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) in Roodepoort.
Apart from operating a Facebook group called, “Operation bring Lu Beagle back,” the family also promised a reward of R.5,000 to whoever brought him back. Then on the 16th February, the SPCA had found Lu and immediately informed Lorin! “I have no words that can express the gratitude and love that is bursting through my heart, for all of you who never gave up on Lu with us,” Lorin wrote on Facebook shortly after finding him again.
