Chapi the 10 year old beagle pup is so tired today, she can’t wait to hit the sack. Then when she did, she remembered in her dreams about some unfinished business, and then started barking softly!
No one believes her parents when they sat that this beagle is 10 years old! You know why? She’s still a puppy at heart! Yep our fur balls teach us a lot about how to live life to the fullest and sometimes we just don’t see it…This fur ball for example isn’t bothered about what people will think when she started barking softly in her sleep!
But have you ever wondered why your fur balls bark in their sleep? According to DogNoteBook, “The reason why dogs bark in their sleep is because they have dreams just like humans do. You can tell when your pet is slipping into that stage by watching their eyes.”
“Dreaming occurs in a stage of sleep known as REM (which stands for rapid eye movement). During this stage, you will notice the dog’s eyelids twitching rapidly as his eyes move beneath them. It is during this stage of sleep that your dog is likely to bark or make other noises such as growling or whimpering.” Yep they’re definitely dreaming happy things, like this one on page 2 below!
