Adorable Dog Fakes A Limp For Dad With Broken Ankle Has Company!

For those that think dogs sense what their parents and other individuals are feeling, you will love this next story. Russel Jones, dog father to Bill, broke this leg in early June.

Since then, he has gotten cards, flowers, and kind wishes from his friends and family, but Bill was the most upset. Bill and Russel would spend days playing, but after Russel came home with a cast on his leg, Bill started acting strange. When he was around his dad, he too would start limping, which caused a bit of a panic. What’s even stranger is that whenever Russel wasn’t around, Bill would run and jump and play, showing no signs of pain.

The dog parents immediately took Bill to the vet to get looked at, just in case something was seriously wrong. Bill’s vet tried for hours to get to the bottom of the limping but found that nothing was wrong with his leg. It took the family a bit to realize that all along, Bill had simply been copying his dad and limping, joining in on his pain. The dog parents recorded a video of Bill and Russel walking along the road, with Russel in a cast and Bill limping beside him.

Russel joked that Bill cost him $300 in vet fees, but he appreciated the solidarity. Friends of this couple commented on his Oscar-worthy performance and got a kick out of Bill’s response to Russel’s broken leg. Just as we said before, dogs do sense the emotions of humans, and Bill took it as far as he could!
