Everyone meet King, an adorable English bulldog pup who decided to sleep on the sofa, but as soon as he woke up, the real struggle began! No matter how hard he tried, he just couldn’t roll over!
The sleeping part was fine, even climbing on the sofa was fine, but because he loves to sleep on his back, the problem emerged when he wanted to get off the sofa! So he woke up and tried rolling over, but he just couldn’t get his cuddly and smooshy self to roll over! Also, have you ever wondered why most fur balls sleep on their backs?
According to VetStreet, “There are no solid stats to reflect the incidence of dogs willing to sleep belly up, but an informal survey of the dog owners you know will probably reveal something like this: 5 to 10 percent of pet dogs sleep with their bellies bared on a fairly regular basis. Dogs who engage in this behavior tend to be secure, well-socialized individuals who enjoy safe, stable, comfortable surroundings.” Now take a look at King’s struggle on page 2 below!
