Adorable German Shepherd Doesn't Like The Broom...At All!

Everyone meet Hayka, an adorable German shepherd pup who was enjoying her day outside in the rain with her daddy when suddenly the broom came out to say hello. No…not the broom…

Now I don’t know what happens to our fur balls when they see “the broom” but they literally lose their minds! I don’t know about your fur ball, but mine just instantly starts howling like the broom just gave it a challenge! Sometimes I find it hard to understand, but we must know that it’s important to teach our fur balls not to chase or mouth brooms!

According to ClickerPets, “Puppies are very curious and playful and can develop undesirable behaviors if not taught. One is chasing or mouthing brooms or mops. Begin by having your dog on leash (preferably with the leash attached to a harness, if you have one) and with a handful of treats and your mop or broom nearby. Put the mop on the ground and walk your puppy by it, dropping treats for him/her staying calm. If your puppy can’t stay calm, increase your distance from the broom, then work your way up as your dog succeeds.” This is one method to stop them from chasing brooms!

Now take a look at this German shepherd pup telling the broom to go away on page 2 below!
