Adorable German Shepherd Enjoys Herself At The Pond!

Everyone meet Laura, an adorable German shepherd pup who’s enjoying herself at the pond bathing and drinking and just making the most out of her day with water!

Laura the fur ball absolutely loves playing in the water and no doubt she’s swimming, but she’s also drinking it. A lot of us may question whether drinking pond water is really the best idea for our fur kids. The answer is no.

According to TheNest, “Dogs should never be permitted to drink water that comes from ponds. Ponds, along with other bodies of water, can host a variety of unpleasant things that can be destructive to your precious doggie’s health, including bacteria, infection-causing parasites, pesticides and poisonous blue-green algae.” Yikes. So while getting a little messy and playing in water is all in good fun, make sure you keep an eye on your fur kid and offer fresh water when they get thirsty.
