Everyone meet Jesse, an adorable Labrador pup who got his first boots to help him walk in the now without any problems! The only concern is that as soon as the boots were on, he became a horse!
Jesse the fur ball probably doesn’t know why all of a sudden he starts acting like a horse! He knows that it’s got something to do with the boots, but he can’t be sure. The boots are there for his protection and as pet parents we should know how to pick the right size.
According to AllDogBoots, “Place your dog’s paw on a blank piece of paper and draw lines at the top, bottom & sides. Measure the lines. Or hold a ruler or tape measure on the bottom of your dog’s paw and measure the length and width (including toenail). Another method is to put a ruler on the floor and let your dog stand on it. If that doesn’t work wet your dog’s paw and press it on a blank piece of paper. Measure the length and width of the impression (include toenail). Size does matter. Incorrectly sized dog boots will not be comfortable or perform well.” Now take a look at this video on page 2 below!
