Perhaps you’ve heard of Maverick, a 9-year-old golden retriever pup whose story went viral after videos of him were recorded as he rode around his neighborhood in a wagon.
The pup was battling lymphoma and couldn’t walk. But that was then; now, he’s made significant recovery progress! Daddy Joey Maxwell has been making sure that Maverick gets tons of love and care. Thanks to all his rest, the pup is now in remission, and a CT scan showed no signs of cancer at all. Doctors even verified that he has a strong heart, completely free of disease. Amazing!
Even better, the pup is showing signs of moving his legs again after all his therapy at Florida Wild Veterinary Hospital, which included underwater treadmill therapy! This pup is so incredible that he was even the Mayor’s special guest at the grand opening of Deland’s first dog park. Amazing! Please like and share in celebration of Maverick’s progress!
