Running a marathon is grueling work! It takes a lot of motivation to keep going towards the finish line, especially after you’ve already been running for what feels like forever. Add some rain into the mix, and you have a bunch of exhausted participants just trying their best to keep going!
Luckily at the Boston Marathon, there was a very special cheerleader around to provide moral support to the runners! That cheerleader was none other than Spencer, a golden retriever pup who won’t be dismayed by the bad weather. Standing proudly next to the race path in a raincoat, the pup held onto Boston-themed flags, waving them in the wind as runners dashed past!
This pup did his best to help give participants the motivation to run till the end, and he did a fantastic job! Imagine how much we’d get done if pups were always cheering us on and wanting to see us succeed!
