Sometimes, all we need is someone we can trust. When Muneca, an 18-year-old blind dachshund pup, was dropped off at the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center, a shelter in Los Angeles, she was terrified.
But then Elaine Seamans, a volunteer, showed her the love she deserved. In response, Muneca jumped into her arms and refused to be put down, clinging tightly to her new friend. Aww!
The touching scene was captured by photographer John Hwang, and the resulting picture went viral and grabbed the attention of the Frosted Faces Foundation, a rescue group that took was able to place her in a foster home.
The fur ball was on her way to recovery. Then something even more incredible happened! Applications for her adoption began pouring in, and after carefully considering all of them, the rescue found Muneca’s new Mommy – Amy Gann. When the two met, it was love at first sight!
Now, Muneca is better than ever, receiving the love she deserves. Her Mommy even made a sling for her so she can keep the pup close at all times around the house. What a touching story! Do like and share away!
