Even with our longer limbs and opposable thumbs, humans still find it difficult to reach certain parts of their bodies when they have an itch – hence the need for back scratchers and similar tools. So imagine what it’s like being a pup who has much more limited motion in this manner than us!
This bulldog pup has a pretty bad itch somewhere on her body – likely on her ear – and her short, stubby legs aren’t able to get rid of it! She tries her best to scratch and scratch, but she can’t reach the right spot. Eventually, after several minutes of trying, she gives up and throws a tantrum, rolling on her bed angrily and trying to rub the itch away! Poor pup!
I think this might be the cue for the pup’s parent to step in and help with the scratching. There, there, pup, no need to throw a fit!
