Certain pup breeds can be very social! While you can have incredibly friendly individuals, the ability to get along with other pups and people are the hallmarks of some breeds, such as the Husky.
This can be due to the intent behind the breeding and the original working conditions of the pup. In the case of the Husky, the pup often had to live with their handler’s family, in addition to working in a team with other pups.
This sort of breed-characteristic friendliness also happens to be the case of the Golden Retriever, as can be seen in this video! While Jin and his parent are out on a walk, they meet another Golden Retriever. Both pups appear calm – if slightly curious – about each other, and are happy to stand in close proximity without any aggression. What a pleasant sight!
Unfortunately, this isn’t always the case. Many pups will often act aggressively towards other pups and humans. To avoid this, make sure you socialize and train your pups properly!
