If you’re a fan of bulldog pups, then you would have definitely wanted to be in Long Beach, California when it held its Bulldog Beauty Contest!
The 14th run of this annual event happened on the 11th of February and included all varieties of bulldogs and has grown over the years to attract thousands of spectators, from animal lovers and dog owners to curious audiences alike!
The competition includes over 20 different categories, including standard sections for the best male and female dogs, best English, French, and mutt bulldogs, best young and old dogs, and best large and small dogs, but there are also other interesting categories. These additional competitive titles include best costume, best smile, most photogenic, best disabled dog, and plenty of titles for different body parts – like best tail, best legs, best smile, and even best butt!
Most proceeds from the event go to the organizers, the Community Action Team, which will use these funds to better the community and improve local facilities.
