Some pup breeds are naturally very gentle with children! In fact, a common characteristic of popular family pups (especially those with young children) is that these pups were bred to be good with children!
There are many reasons as to why these pups are so good with children – some, like the Husky, were expected to be a family pet when off duty, and must remain in close contact with the family at all times. Therefore, they had to be good with children, thanks to their circumstances.
The Golden Retriever happens to be one of these breeds that are good with children – and you can see that breed heritage show in how this pup plays with this toddler! The pup is incredibly gentle with the toddler, knowing full well this child is fragile and young. It is truly a testament to just how intelligent this breed is!
Regardless, all pup-children interactions should always be supervised by a parent, just in case of accidents!
