Despite their size, they are graceful swimmers and use their strong tails to propel themselves through the water. The manatee is Florida’s state marine mammal and is a relative of the elephant! Manatees live in shallow, slow-moving saltwater bays, rivers, estuaries, and coastal areas. The bulldog in this video is about to kiss a manatee!

The bulldog and his dad were kayaking in Florida when they found a group of five manatees. At first, the bulldog isn’t quite sure what to make of these large, strange creatures! Dad talked to him for a bit, and then the manatees resurfaced. The bulldog and manatee kissed, rubbed noses, and played! This is the stuff memories are made of! What an amazing moment!
