Adorable Pup Spins In Circles Before Finding A Comfortable Spot To Lie In

Getting comfortable before a nap can take a while. You might fluff up your pillows, smooth the sheets, or make sure your blanket is properly draped over you in the exact way you like.

This cute Labrador pup wants to lie down and get comfortable, but before that, he needs to perform a routine. He spins around and around in circles in the same spot, as though thoroughly inspecting the area, making sure it’s all safe and clear before he can finally settle down and rest. According to his Dad, this is something he does all the time! Too cute!

Did you know that many dogs perform this “ritual” before lying down because of hardwired behavior passed down from their ancestors? Back then, pups had to flatten the grass and bushes beneath in order to form a comfortably spot to rest, and this is how they would do it. The more you know!
