Pups can be curious things, eager to poke their nose into any and all situations! The inverse, however, is also very true – they can be incredibly scared about items and environments!

That is why it is very important to socialize your pup at a young age and to build up their confidence. That way, they can tackle new things with grace and poise!

Of course, something in between these two extremes can also happen – they can be wary about something! In the case of Snoopy the Beagle pup, that wariness translates to barking at his parent’s new backpack!

It may seem a little silly to us humans – what is so worrying about a new backpack? Perhaps it is the smell of a new product. That new-item smell is already so obvious to us – perhaps to a pup, it is overwhelming. Or maybe it is just the plastic wrap the bag is in, and the pup doesn’t like it. Who knows?
