Professional dog trainers from Florida, Mandi and Jeremy Johnson, just had a new baby, Malia, and they thought of a unique way to celebrate her arrival with the participation of their two adorable pups, Kenai and Kono.
Recreating the Lion King scene where baby Simba is presented by the monkey, Rafiki, before his subjects, the Johnsons dressed up in similar costumes with Malia as the baby lion and their two lovable dogs playing the parts of her admiring subjects.
Being children of trainers, Kenai and Kono were used to playing roles, and so, recreating the iconic Disney scene with the family was not much of a sweat for the two pups who nailed it perfectly. According to Jeremy, recreating the Lion King scene with their own baby had always been a dream of theirs, and with Malia’s arrival, they thought the occasion was the perfect opportunity to realize their dream.
Malia did dress up as the young Simba with Jeremy holding her, as Rafiki.
Kenai and Kono dressed adorably as a giraffe and zebra and were captured in the video as looking up admiringly at the lifted-up baby Malia. After the fun and memorable activity, the Johnsons observed that Kenai and Kono have easily adjusted to their new family addition, showing baby Malia so much affection.
Jeremy and Mandi are both excited to making more unforgettable memories with their three lovable children – Kenai, Kono, and Malia.
