Some pups have been through fire and back. In the case of this English Bulldog pup, this statement is not only true, but also completely literal for him.
Aldo the English Bulldog was rescued from death’s door by the English Bulldog Rescue Italia (EBRI) in 2017. After examining the MRI scan, his broken bones and bruises are believed by his current caretaker post-EBRI rescue, Emi Nava, to be caused by the poor pup being run over by a car. He was then later found in an alley on the outskirts of the city of Palermo in Sicily after being set on fire, along with other signs of abuse.
Since his earlier puppyhood of hardship, Aldo’s life has turned around completely. The pup is now celebrating his second Christmas with his new loving forever home, and is now perfectly happy. What a wonderful ending to an otherwise heartbreaking story for this adorable pup!
