Adorable Shelter Dog Escapes His Kennel And Throws A Party!

Gilligan is a full-time resident at the Bedford County Humane Society in Pennsylvania. He had lived there ever since he was a puppy.

His start to life was pretty bad. When he arrived at the shelter, he had to overcome a lot of trauma. So, the volunteers thought it might be good for him to get a job as the office greeter. Every time someone walks through the door, Gilligan lets the volunteer know someone’s waiting. He had made a lot of progress with people, and he is very happy to be doing what he’s doing.

Not too long ago someone was closing up for the night and had to put Gilligan back in his kennel. But he didn’t latch the door properly, so the dog was able to get out. He checked out the surroundings, figured out he was alone, and decided to throw himself a party. So, he went straight to where they kept the toys and pulled them out. He started playing around, spreading the toys in every room and hallway he could get to. He made one of the biggest messes anyone at the shelter had ever seen.

The next day, when the volunteers arrived to work, they saw the remains of his party. They were shocked to see what was in front of them. But what made them crack was the fact that Gilligan was standing there, with a big goofy grin on his face, not seeming guilty at all.

Fortunately, he had only gotten to the toys, so the mess wasn’t impossible to clean up.
