After Busy Christmas Celebrations, This Pup Decides To Take Boxing Day Off!

Boxing day is celebrated on December 26th and originated in the United Kingdom. The exact origin of the day are not clear, but the Oxford English Dictionary states that the first Boxing Day was celebrated in the 1830s.

It is a holiday observed the day after Christmas in which errand boys, postmen, or other servants get a Christmas box (a gratuity from this employer). In this video, Lincoln, the famous English Bulldog, has some chills on Boxing Day. Apparently, Lincoln had a very stressful or exciting Christmas day – he spends the majority of this video snoozing on the couch!

Mom and dad take a few seconds to tell us how soft his fur is and all the while mom pets his tummy. Of course, the boy is going to keep sleeping, he is comfy and getting a lovely belly rub! Oh, if only every day of the year could be so relaxing!
