When looking at pictures from a dog shelter, you’d expect to find people going crazy over the dog, but in this instance, the guy got all the attention!
The City of Wichita Falls Animal services usually uses its Facebook page to improve a dog’s chances of being adopted, but the ladies in the comment were more interested in taking Zac home!
Blue-eye, lean bod, Zackry Majewski works at the shelter and was featured on their page with a husky named Sky. The shelter was hoping Sky would find his forever family. Soon, the comments section was loaded with comments like “Is Zac looking for a forever home too”, and “Is there actually a dog in this picture? I can’t find it…”
It turns out that the shelter was also doing an animal control officer appreciation week and decided to photo workers with dogs. That week, Zac had stolen the show, with his thick hair, and dog tattoo on his forearm. Besides looking great, the shelter shared that Zac especially loves huskies and shows a great deal of care and compassion for all the dogs in the shelter. They also let his admirers in on two of his hobbies: hiking and listening to Country Music.
Zac works both as a kennel technician and animal control officer. He took on those roles last October and does things like cleaning the kennel, feeding dogs, and playing with them. He also works out in the community, picking up stray dogs and checking in on reports of cruelty. One day, Zac intends to become a Texas game warden.
Zac going viral worked out for everyone. Sky was adopted, and it has brought the shelter a ton of attention. No one saw it coming, and it quickly went from only 500 comments to thousands of people admiring his good looks.
He didn’t let it go to his head because he’s a humble guy, and found it rather funny. He just hopes that this can get even more dogs adopted. And, maybe his heart can be adopted too (that’s right. He’s single!)
