Australian Hotel Hires Adorable Dog Concierge!

A concierge is an employee of a hotel that is tasked with helping all the guests by arranging theater and dinner reservations, booking hotels, setting up spa appointments, making recommendations about the nightlife in the city, getting transportation, arranging for porter service, and even setting up tours.

It may be helpful with a description like that to be a human, but Mr. walker, an 18-month-old Labrador, is the newest concierge at a five-star hotel in Melbourne! The Park Hyatt says their newest staff member will happily take a guest’s bag and always is wagging his tail when new guests arrive!

There is nothing like having a dog around to make a place feel more welcoming and homey! This is a fantastic idea! Wonder if high-end hotels in the states will pick up on the concept! Watch the video to see Mr. Walker do his job with flare!
