This very special Golden Retriever might make you cry, but he will definitely leave you inspired!
After a tragic accident took the use of all four of his legs, Rocky 3’s strong will and the dedication of some very special humans at HydroPaws Animal Rehabilitation gave this lucky Golden a new lease on life!
Rocky 3 was hit by a car and suffered some pretty major injuries. He was left unable to use any of his legs. Some dogs would give up (and a lot of people would) but not Rocky 3. This fur kid wanted to keep going and be there with his family for years to come so he set out on the long road to recovery.
After so many kinds of pain management, therapy, and a lot of hard work, the people at HydroPaws started to see some changes. Little by little, Rocky 3 gained more and more use of his legs. First, he was able to stand and sit, then little by little, he could take a step with a little help and after more and more therapy, he was finally able to walk on his own again and even better – run and play fetch!
