It is undeniable – interspecies friendships are some of the cutest and purest relationships out there. This is especially so between animals that are traditionally considered enemies. In this particular video’s example, between cats and pups!
There is some basis in this popular media cliché. The reason you will see cats and pups fighting a lot is because their body languages are fundamentally very different. In fact, you can see this when a pup parent tries to interact with a cat, or vice versa – signs and communication signals get misinterpreted constantly, leading to everyone being upset!
Of course, this is less of a problem when you socialize them at a young age. This way, they get to know one another better! This kitten and Golden Retriever puppy definitely have a headstart on their new friendship, because of how young they both are when introduced!
