Big Bro’s Got This Covered!

Murphy is the big bro in question. He lives with his mom. Sara Morrow in the rural part of Oregon. Here, he is big bro to five cats, 21 chickens, 2 pigs, and a single rabbit. His job is to keep them safe and to make sure everyone gets along.

His favorite things to do include chasing the birds, swimming, snuggling with the cats, hiking, and taking care of baby chicks. He’s a gentle giant who even enjoys digging holes with the rabbit. He would one day run into a bit of trouble, but this wouldn’t last long. It started when his mom brought home Archie, an English setter puppy who was to be his little brother.

Don’t get it wrong, Archie is a sweet pup, he’s just a bit rough sometimes. He gets on great with Murphy and follows him just about everywhere. When he’s too rough, Murphy steps in the middle and lets Archie play with him instead. He knows Archie is a good boy. If it gets too out of control, Murphy lays down the law. He does this with his soft mouth. See, Golden Retrievers are known for this. They can even pick up and carry raw eggs without damaging them.

Once, he swallowed Archie’s head, but his mom wasn’t worried. She knew he isn’t an aggressive dog and means no harm.

Archie is older now and his head can’t fit in Murphy’s mouth anymore. That’s no biggie since he’s still able to keep him in check!
