Boy Overcomes His Fear For Swimming With The Help Of This Adorable Pup!

We all have fears. Some of us have a fear of heights or a fear of flying. Then there are those of us who can’t stand spiders, snakes, and other creepy crawly things!

Some fears are more rational than others. One common fear that young children have is a fear of swimming. Caiden, a young boy with autism, had that fear. Caiden’s parents had enrolled him in a Special Fishes: Aquatic Freedom and Education swim class to help ease his fears and teach him to swim.

One of the benefits of the program is that they have a rescue dog who helps the children! The dog’s name is Cori, a rescue dog, who takes his job seriously. Watch as Cori helps Caiden learn not to be afraid of the water. With time, Caiden learns that the pool is a place for fun!
