Brave Pup To Compete At The 2018 Westminster Dog Show After Horrific Accident

The Westminster Dog Show is a huge event for many dog lovers and pup parents, and every year we see gorgeous pups showing off their skills and handsome fur. This year, one of the contestants has an inspiring history and story to tell.

When Fanucci the German shepherd pup found himself in a broken down, moving van that was being towed down the road, he didn’t know what to do. So he did the first thing he could think of – he leaped right out of the vehicle and injured himself as he fell. The pup wound up with a shattered leg that required metal rods in order to keep it in place, and he was bloodied and in pain.

After being rushed to the hospital and treated, Fanucci began the long, difficult road to recovery. At first, it seemed like progress was slow, but now, three years later, the pup is doing better than ever and is ready to compete in the 2018 Westminster Dog Show! He’s already garnered countless fans who have him pegged as a favorite to win the day. Good luck, Fanucci!
