Many shows were cancelled too soon: Arrested Development, Firefly, Deadwood. We like to add one more to the list: Poochinski.
This show was created by ABC, and by today standards it’s definitely hilarious!
Wikipedia explains, “Poochinski is a 1990 pilot featuring a Chicago police detective whose spirit is transferred to a flatulent English Bulldog after he is killed in the line of duty.” And apparently some executive thought, “Oh no, don’t worry, there’s going to be PLENTY of farts.”
This is one of the wackiest things I’ve seen. Maybe it’s time to bring Poochinski back!
