This golden retriever called Cooper absolutely loves eating ice cubes and he just wouldn’t stop! For those of us who’re afraid of giving ice cubes or ice water to our fur babies, here’s what Dr. Tina Wismer, medical director at the ASPCA’s Animal Poison Control Center has to say, “Dogs do not bloat from drinking ice water on hot days… They can be given as treats or put in the water bowl. Some behaviorists even recommend freezing toys or treats in ice for dogs to chew on.”
