This is Oliver the yellow Labrador retriever puppy and he is quite dubious of his new puppy pool.
This 5-month-old lab puppy prefers to inspect the puppy pool! He sniffs it, bites it repeatedly and leans in to play with the water inside! However, he isn’t a water dog just yet. While most labs love the water, you can tell they aren’t necessarily born loving the water. He’s mighty curious about what this pool of water is, but he’s just not willing to climb into it just yet.
Instead, Oliver seems to love playing with the water from the edge of the pool – he mouths and plays with it as if he’s catching or retrieving a fish!

You’ll notice he checks in with his human for a little reassurance and goes back to exploring the water from the edge of the pool. He thinks he likes it, he just isn’t quite sure what it is yet!
