Dad's Farewell Tribute To His Beloved Dachshund Pup Will Make You Cry

Meet Pepper, an adorable dachshund pup, who was his dad’s sweetheart, but unfortunately due to medical conditions, his daddy had to make a bitter decision. Now here’s a tribute… to Pepper.

According to the original uploader on YouTube, “There is less joy in the world today. It’s with great sadness to tell you all, that little Pepper passed away at 5:00 pm today, 03/30/2016. He went to Rainbow Bridge. Little Pepper has been in and out of the Vet Hospital the past 3 months. He stopped eating and drinking the past two days and I could not let him starve.”

“Aside from having a very weak heart, with fluid buildup in the chest the past 3 years, which was under control with medications, the sudden onset of severe fluid build up in the lungs, and sudden loss of mobility in the legs the past 2 days, were too much for his tired body to withstand… I am mourning now, and little Pippi was there to say goodbye to her dad, Pepper. Pippi, is 11 years old.”

“Thank you for all your kind words through your messages, and understand my absence. Pepper was a wonderful little boy, a buddy, my little ‘ol man, and a bundle of life and joy. He was abused as a puppy, and I rescued him in 2011, along with his daughter Pippi, from a bad breeder. He was very comical, always with his squeaky toy in mouth, stubborn, feisty, yet ever so gentle.”

“He never left my side, ever. Following me everywhere….. I loved him dearly. But in the end, his tired little body broke down. Am comforted to know he is at peace now. Here’s a short, little video tribute to my best friend. I will miss him terribly. Your family loves and adores you, Pepper. R.I.P. my little Pepper….” Take a look at this video on page 2 below.
