Do Your Pups Actually Watch The TV? This Is Going To Surprise You!

We may constantly talk about how pups seem to have super strong hearing or smell, but we can’t ever forget the fact that they can see things pretty well too! Being predator animals, pups have binocular vision like we do.

Essentially, this means that they can see depth the way we can! Although sadly, they don’t quite share our ability to see color – a pup’s retina only has two different color-sensitive cone cells. This means they can only see yellow and blue – they are red-green colorblind!

This, obviously, has been the butt of many jokes in mainstream media. However, this doesn’t limit a pup’s ability to enjoy shows and other visual media like we do. After all, we have had pups who would sit down with us and intently watch TV as well. Just look at these two English Bulldog pups getting excited over an old copy of The Legend of Zelda!
