The Mt. Healthy police have issued an urgent warning to all dog parents in the Clovernook Apartment regarding the concerning current reports made of dogs being stolen.
It was reported that a French Bulldog was kidnapped from the inside of a tenant’s apartment in the 7900 block of Clovernook between the hours of 11 am and 1: 30 pm on Wednesday. The police are asking anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of the dog or the theft to come forward and to contact Detective Jones at 513-728-3182.
The police have already made one arrest in a separate case regarding another dognapping from the same complex where a person stole another dog. Thankfully, the dog was reunited with the parent.
During this time, you are advised to keep a close watch on your dog at all times, especially when outside. If you have to leave, try to bring your dog along wherever possible until the dognappers have been located. If not, your dog will likely be safer in the care of someone you trust such as a neighbor or at a doggy daycare. You cannot afford to take any risks during this time.
If you notice any suspicious activity, report it to the Mt. Healthy police right away. You should also contact building security if you are ever in a situation where you have to leave your dog alone so they can perform checks wherever possible to ensure there was no break in. Keep safe, and all the best.
