Dog Waits In The Same Spot For 4 Years Until His Family Comes Back For Him

The loyalty of our four-legged friends is, at the best of times, incomprehensible. They seem to remember us after weeks, months, and sometimes even years!

Always sturdily ready at our sides, our canine companions are ready to take on any task that will help us. The viral videos of veterans returning home just to be thrillingly jumped on by their dogs often has us in tears. These, always reminding us of the never-ending compassion our furry-faced family members have for us. Relentlessness and determination are often one of the most observed behaviors of our dogs, and a case in Thailand has only confirmed this once again!

Leo, a dog in Thailand, is the picture of loyalty.

One day, a couple accidentally lost Leo at a gas station in Thailand. When community members and neighbors saw Leo abandoned, they jumped into the rescue and kept feeding him or providing shelter.

When they noticed he had developed a skin problem, they treated him and tried to provide him with a home. However, Leo was determined to find his pet parents again and kept returning to the gas station in the hope that this would come true. Believe it or not, Leo did this for four consecutive years!

One woman in the neighborhood decided to post Leo on social media in a bid to find his rightful parents. Soon enough, she found a response and he was picked up to be taken home.

Surprisingly, Leo did not want to go home and prefers to stay with one of the community members that had kept him safe.

Surprised and confused, Leo’s parents agreed to let him stay, but support him financially and visit him regularly!
