Dog Who Loves Gophers Finds One Digging Out Of A Tunnel

As soon as you set eyes on Fiona, you can already tell she is a sweet dog. She is a Great Pyrenees with a bright white coat to match her personality. Her favorite pastime is going to the park with her mom and finding gophers!

So, almost every day, Fiona and her mom take walks to the park to exercise their limbs, breathe in the fresh hair, and socialize. But, there is one more thing that Fiona loves doing when they go to the park. Hanging around the gopher holes in the park with the hope that a gopher will come out and say hi.

“She does it quite often. She thinks everyone wants to say hi to her.” Fiona’s mom says.

And you would think that the gophers will be scared of her but they seem to smell Fiona’s gentleness in the air.

“Their interactions are so gentle and sweet,” Fiona’s mom confesses.

In one video that she was able to record you can see the gopher get so close to Fiona that their noses almost touch. The video has even inspired the mom to open an Instagram account for her sweet Pyrenees. You can check her out at Fiona_the_great_pyreness.

It’s been a little over a month since she posted the video of Fiona and the gopher and the account already has over 1,700 followers.

Fiona’s mom took her in when she was a puppy with a broken leg and it’s amazing to see how well she has taken care of the dog and how rich a bond they have.
