Life is tough for stray dogs on the streets. They are exposed to different dangers from people, cars, diseases, etc. Often, diseases are a major concern and can be life-threatening because they don’t have anyone to look after them.
Each day is a combination of different dangers, and they must find a way to survive no matter how difficult. Grey was one of the many stray dogs surviving on the streets.
Before becoming homeless, he had a family – or so he thought. His story is a tragic one showing how cruel some humans are. Poor Grey was sick with mange. Rather than take care of him when he got ill, his family turned their backs on him and kicked him out.
Grey stayed by his home’s gate, hoping that his parents would grow a conscience and take him back one day. Sadly, they didn’t. His sickness began to worsen with every passing day, and the once beautiful dog started looking unappealing. Luck found Gray one day when Sidewalk Specials, a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing dogs from abusive situations, found him and decided to rescue him.
Using a combination of treatment, love, and care, Grey is back on track to becoming healthy.
Those who knew him back when his parents abandoned him can hardly recognize him now with his beautiful coat and bright blue eyes.
If your dog is sick, please care for them and give them the necessary attention they need instead of abandoning them. It’s unfair and cruel.
