Dorothy The Hairless Pug Is Nothing But Perfection!

Meet Dorothy, the Hairless Pug. She’s a spectacle wherever she goes and she loves the attention. Her mom does too because people don’t quite know how to react to her. Some are shocked and confused, and others can’t help but say ‘awww’ to how cute and adorable she is.

Dorothy’s hairlessness is permanent, but it isn’t the cause of a skin condition or disease, so don’t be concerned. She was just born this way and her health is fine. She is loved by her family and they wouldn’t trade her for a million bucks.

She is a mixed pug, but they are unsure which hairless breed she’s mixed with. A DNA test proved she is 87.5% pug and 13% terrier or other, and that was pretty much it, so it’s still a bit of a mystery.

The only drawback to being hairless is that she has to layer up when the time is chilly. Apart from that, her hairlessness doesn’t put her at a disadvantage. And, since they lived in Phoenix for a while, she didn’t have to wear much clothes. Since they moved to Chicago however, she’s had to get warm clothing for her.

Dorothy is like any other dog. She loves playing and she especially loves her snacks and treats. She loves to nap, snort, and snuggle as well.

Her uniqueness is something her entire family embraces, and she’s expected to live a long and happy life with them. Till then, she’ll continue being a good girl and the center of attention wherever she goes.
