Duncan the Labrador is celebrating his second birthday and you’re going to love it! This baby boy has turned two and his birthday cake is just too good!

Duncan the Labrador pup is happy to celebrate his second birthday and he’s barking to make it clear how excited he is to eat his birthday cake! Now the cakes you have for your birthdays are not the ones you can give your fur balls, but I’m sure you know that already. Birthday cakes for your beloved fur balls are different and here’s a fantastic recipe!

According to Tiffin Filion’s reviews, “Made these last night for Milly’s 2nd birthday & both of my dogs loved them! I followed the ingredients exactly as they were, but I filled jumbo foil cupcake baking cups placed on a cookie sheet for baking them. 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes and they were done!” So let’s look at the recipe!

Ingredients:

  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup cooking oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup honey (optional)
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1 cup whole wheat or white flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 6 cup ring mold.
  2. Combine the egg, peanut butter, oil, vanilla, and honey, if desired, in a large bowl; blend well. Stir in the carrots and mix thoroughly. Sift together the flour and baking soda and fold into the carrot mixture. Spoon cake batter into prepared pan.
  3. Bake in preheated oven for 40 minutes. Let cake cool in pan for 10 minutes; then turn out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
