Senior German Shepherd AMAZINGLY Survives Three Days In A Sinkhole...And That's Not All

A 12-year-old German shepherd is safe and sound after a harrowing ordeal. And when you take a look at this pup’s history, you’ll find out that this isn’t the only one he’s survived!

Marverick’s family took him out for a bathroom break when he suddenly disappeared. They searched high and low along the streets of their neighborhood and looked for breaks in the ice in nearby water, but there was no trace of him.

Three days later, Lisa Van Valkenburgh, his owner, was on a walk when she heard strange sounds that sounded like they could be beneath her, though not far off. She made out faint barking, and it turned out that poor Maverick had fallen into a six-foot-deep sinkhole!

Having already survived getting caught in a raccoon trap and being hit by a car, poor Maverick has been through a lot in his lifetime. Lucky for him, firefighters came to pull him from the sinkhole and rushed him to an emergency vet for medical treatment. The old pup will be in an IV for a few more days as he recovers.
