Emotional Mom Reunited With Her Dachshund Pup After A Heartwrenching Tornado

Everyone meet Abby, an adorable dachshund pup who lost her mommy during a tornado. During the Moore, Oklahoma tornado, this pup went missing and luckily survived under the debris. Watch the emotional reunion here!

When the News 9 found Abby, she was wandering the streets of debris looking for her mommy, but she was nowhere to be found. The crew called the number of her tag, but no one responded and that’s when the search began – to find Abby’s mommy.

According to the original uploader, “The next day, News 9’s Michael Konopasek had no luck finding an owner, so he used the power of TV to tell News 9 viewers about the missing dog. Minutes later on Twitter, News 9 learned Abby’s owner, Pam Chandler, was awaiting surgery at Integris Southwest Medical Center.”

As soon as Pam saw Abby, she said, “I held her so she could breathe the air up at the top. And then I just screamed. I honestly didn’t think I would get out of this, so I’m … lucky.” According to Pam’s son Aaron Chandler, “Honestly, I think seeing Abby is better than any medicine they could give her…” Take a look at this emotional reunion on page 2 below!
