According to the original uploader on YouTube, “”In October, we lost our beautiful golden retriever named Buddy to cancer, he was 10 years old. We weren’t aware that he had a brain tumor and he died suddenly one morning after Alex went to school. We got him when Alex was only 2 months she’s 10 now old and they grew up together. He was the most loving, sweet and gentle dog. Alex and him were best friends.”
“Losing him left a deep hole in all of our hearts but especially Alex. We decided to adopt a dog from a local rescue and give her the dog for Christmas. She is the biggest animal lover I have ever met. We videoed the moment she saw him for the first time and all of her emotions came pouring out.
