Surrendering a fur ball to a shelter is pretty bad. Abandoning a pup is even worse. But selling your fur balls to a meat farm?
That’s an act that can only be committed by heartless monsters, surely. But Lilly and Pinch, two golden retriever pups, were betrayed by their family in this way in South Korea, where the meat trade is legal. These poor fur balls were neglected and barely given enough food to survive, and were forced to live in small metal cages.
Luckily, the meat farm was on land that wasn’t legally owned, meaning that help was on its way. The property was seized, and all 35 pups that were on it were freed and sent to shelters, with Lilly and Pinch being flown to North Carolina. What a relief! The best part?
Despite the horrors they’d experienced, these two pups remained sweet and friendly. That just proves how unbreakable their spirits are! Any family would be lucky to have them! Like and share away, people!
