Losing a pup is never easy. For the Daddy of Max the labrador pup, it was a sad and difficult process. Max was adopted by Daddy from Animal Welfare in Cape Town when he was under two years old.
At the time, the pup was malnourished and in bad shape. But the first time Daddy took him for a walk in the shelter’s compound, the pup ran straight for a bucket of water and splashed in it! As it turned out, the fur ball loved swimming just as much as his Daddy-to-be did. Perfect match!
The pup lived a happy and healthy life with Daddy in his new forever home! He swam many, many times, and even enjoyed many fun tussles in the snow. He and Daddy went on many adventures to the Western Cape, Netherlands, and Germany. The pup’s sweet temper meant he was friendly and always loving, and got along great with his best friend the house cat!
After living a long, happy life, Max was diagnosed with a large tumor in his liver that had already burst and sent cells spreading to his abdomen and lungs. He passed away in his Daddy’s arms, being showered with hugs and kisses. Do like and share this sweet memorial video as a celebration of this fur ball’s life. Rest in peace, Max!
