Firefighters Work Hard To Save A Golden Retriever From Fire!

It was Mister Rogers who said “When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, ‘Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.” Helpers were there in a big way for this golden retriever when a fire broke out on the third floor of a residence.

Firefighters took quick action, putting the fire out, and pulling a golden retriever out who was unconscious from too much smoke inhalation. His owners weren’t home, so had it not been for their quick action, who knows what could have happened. Firefighters didn’t have the conventional supplies to administer oxygen to a dog, but they acted fast, modifying a piece of equipment meant for a human, they were able to get oxygen into the dog’s lungs and get him breathing again before his owners returned home.

Awesome people like these prevent disasters from getting even worse, and save lives which often include the lives of animals. We are so grateful for these heroes!
