When Catcher the German shepherd was found, his skin was literally peeling away, and its cause was a mystery.

After a quick car ride to the vet, the interior of the car smelled like burnt flesh, and without a physical examination, no one had an idea if Catcher could even see with the burns around his eyes.

When Catcher the German shepherd was found, his skin was literally peeling away, and its cause was a mystery.

After a quick car ride to the vet, the interior of the car smelled like burnt flesh, and without a physical examination, no one had an idea if Catcher could even see with the burns around his eyes.

After a series of tests from the vet, the results came up negative for an auto-immune disease. Instead, the lab’s biopsy concluded Catcher’s burns were the result of some sort of trauma.

No one knows what caused the trauma and the burns, but Cather is doing fine now, and he is recovering successfully!

Right now, Catcher is headed to a foster home and is getting all the love and care he needs!
